Are you a passionate and experienced childcare professional looking for your next career step? We are seeking a Room Leader to join a warm and welcoming private day nursery in a village on the outskirts of Corby.



The Nursery

The nursery is dedicated to providing a nurturing, stimulating, and safe environment where children can thrive. Taking pride in offering high-quality early years education and creating a home-from-home atmosphere for children, parents, and staff alike.



The Role

As a Room Leader, you will:

  • Lead and inspire a team of practitioners to deliver outstanding childcare
  • Plan and implement engaging, age-appropriate activities in line with the EYFS framework
  • Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of all children in your care
  • Build strong relationships with parents and carers, keeping them informed of their child's progress
  • Support the professional development of your team through mentoring and guidance
  • Maintain high standards of safeguarding and nursery policies


What We're Looking For

  • A Level 3 (or above) qualification in Childcare or Early Years
  • Experience working in a nursery setting, ideally in a leadership role
  • Strong knowledge of the EYFS and safeguarding procedures
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • A positive, enthusiastic, and caring approach to childcare
