My client are seeking a proactive and dedicated individual to lead there efforts in recruiting, training, and educating the businesses driver community. This role encompasses both long-term employees and new hires, focusing on imparting the necessary methods, techniques, procedures, and legal knowledge to ensure the safe, punctual, and efficient execution of driver responsibilities.

Location: Corby.
Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday (45 hours).
Salary: Negotiable.

The ideal candidate:
A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience is required.
Proven managerial experience with oversight of operations across multiple sites.
Proficiency in teaching CPC is desired.
Demonstrated capability and prior experience in managing a small team, including at least two team members and driver trainers who report directly to you.
Previous experience in the transport industry is highly preferred.

Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough assessments and training for new starters during the recruitment process.
Train employed drivers to consistently meet high standards, ensuring they comply with all legal requirements.
Develop, enhance, and maintain training materials and programs to elevate driver competencies.
Monitor and manage driver infringements, providing necessary retraining or recommending further actions for compliance.
Conduct comprehensive accident reviews and oversee any required remedial training to enhance safety and minimize incidents.
Play an active role in the recruitment of new drivers to support our team's growth.
Lead and manage a small team, including driver trainers, offering guidance, support, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
