Key Responsibilities:

• Independent Work:As anAssembly Operative, you will be primarily working independently on various projects for a range of clients. You will be responsible for assembling electrical connectors and components to precise specifications, ensuring high quality and accuracy in all work.
• Workstation Setup and Maintenance:You will have your ownfully equipped workstation, where youll perform assembly tasks, using tools and equipment to produce connectors and parts with a high degree of precision.
• Reading and Working from Drawings:A key part of the role will involve reading technicaldrawingsandspecificationsto assemble components. You must be able to follow instructions carefully to ensure accuracy and meet quality standards.
• Manual Assembly:Tasks will involve bothmanual assemblyandtechnical assemblytasks, includingsoldering,loom assembly, and connecting components. Although experience in these areas is preferred, full training will be provided.
• Quality Control:You will be responsible for ensuring each component you produce meets the strict quality standards set by the company. This will require attention to detail and a focus on accuracy.
• Consistent Pace:The role requires the ability to maintain a steady and efficient working pace while ensuring the production of high-quality components. The ability to manage your time and prioritize tasks will be essential to your success.
• Collaboration with Team:Although you will spend a lot of time working independently, you will also be part of a wider team, and collaboration with other operatives may be required to meet production goals.

• High Level of Dexterity:As the job involves assembling small components, a high level ofmanual dexterityis essential. You must be comfortable working with delicate and intricate parts.

• Good Eyesight:As you will be handling small parts and working from technical drawings,good eyesightis necessary to ensure accuracy in your work.
• Steady Hand:The role requires you to handle small components and tools with care. Asteady handwill be crucial for successful assembly.
• Willingness to Learn:An eagerness to learn new skills is essential. You will receivefull trainingon the tools and techniques required for the role, and your ability to absorb and apply this knowledge will help you succeed.
• Self-Motivated:You will need to be able to work independently after your initial training. Being self-motivated and able to stay focused on your tasks will be key to your success.
• Previous Experience (Preferred but not essential):Ideally, experience in anelectronics assembly settingor similar manufacturing environment would be an advantage, but this is not essential. Experience withsolderingorloom assemblyis also a plus but not a requirement.
