Due to the securing of new contracts and growth, the company is looking to add a highly motivated Health & Safety Advisor to the team.In this role you will be part of a tight-knit team, working directly with a company Director who will aid you in becoming an expert within the field. Responsibilities include identifying and assessing risks, implementing group safety standards, monitoring H&S compliance, along with promoting new initiatives and training programs.The ideal candidate will have a NEBOSH Construction qualification, along with 3+ years of experience in a similar role, with experience conducting risk assessments, internal audits, and near-misses. Any experience with company training is beneficial but not essential. - Work closely alongside a company Director to continuously improve health and safety standards
- Conduct risk assessments
- Enhance the health and safety culture of the team
- Conduct accident and near-miss reports where necessary
- Support will be provided to further industry qualifications
- Site-based with working hours 8am - 5pm
The Person
- NEBOSH Construction qualification
- 3+ years of experience in a similar role
- Experience with internal audits, risk assessment, near-miss reports etc.
- Running of training sessions (advantageous but not essential)
