The Role:
As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers to support the learning and development of pupils across a variety of subjects and activities. Your role will involve working with small groups, one-to-one support for pupils, assisting with classroom management, and ensuring that students' individual needs are met. You will be a key part of our school community, helping to provide a positive and productive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the teacher in planning, preparing, and delivering lessons.
  • Assist with the implementation of individual learning plans.
  • Provide one-to-one or small group support to pupils.
  • Help with classroom management, ensuring a safe and focused learning environment.
  • Monitor and track students' progress, providing feedback where necessary.
  • Foster positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents.
  • Assist with general administrative tasks as required.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Experience working with children, ideally within a school environment.
  • A genuine passion for helping children achieve their best.
  • Strong communication skills, both with children and adults.
  • The ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Patience, empathy, and a positive approach to challenges.
  • An understanding of safeguarding and the welfare of children.
  • Relevant qualifications such as a Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (desirable but not essential).
