Role Purpose:
The Ingredients Raw Material Planner will manage the logistics and procurement of ingredients, ensuring the consistent supply of materials necessary for production and supporting the wider team in sourcing and supplier engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage procurement and logistics of ingredients, ensuring materials meet specifications and are cost-efficient.
* Maintain consistent supply levels, track production volumes, and monitor customer demand patterns.
* Collaborate with departments on production goals, timelines, and supplier payments.
* Schedule and oversee raw material deliveries, liaising with suppliers and distributors.
* Manage stock levels, inventory issues, and schedule changes.
* Support supplier sourcing, tenders, and report price changes.
* Ensure adherence to food safety and escalate customer service issues when necessary.
Requirements:
* Previous experience in a similar position is essential, particularly in ingredients/food.
* Strong skills in stock management, ERP systems, and forecast/demand planning.
