Job Title:Warehouse Coordinator

Location:Corby

Salary:up to £28,000 + bonus

Hours:Monday to Thursday 08:00-17:30, Friday 08:00-14:30

Are you an organised and proactive warehouse and stock control professional with experience in storage management, stock handling and production operations? We are seeking a Warehouse & Stock Control Coordinator to come in with fresh ideas and energy to streamline our warehouse and storage processes.

About the Role:

In this hands-on role, youll manage our warehouse operations, oversee goods in and out and take ownership of our stock control processes. As a key member of a small warehouse team, youll have the flexibility and desire to get stuck in and support other areas where needed, helping us maintain efficiency and meet client deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage incoming goods, verify receipts and inform departments of deliveries on the same day.
  • Take full ownership of the goods in/out process, bring new ideas to make an organised system for all.
  • Identify and label deliveries according to project specifications, address any issues promptly.
  • Allocate materials to sales orders and production, report low stock to ensure timely reorders.
  • Operate Counterbalance to redistribute/organise stock.
  • Support with packing/wrapping orders and keep areas tidy.
  • Carry out stock counts and report figures to Factory Manager.

About You:

We are looking for a driven individual, looking to become part of a unified team, who takes ownership and pride in their role and is eager to identify and introduce improvements. Ideal candidates will have:

  • A positive attitude, attention to detail and a proactive approach to identifying improvements.
  • A counterbalance forklift truck license.
  • Knowledge of warehouse equipment and an understanding of quality and control procedures.
  • Strong numeracy and communication skills, ability to work independently and within a team.
  • A full UK driving license.
  • Willingness to help in all areas, not only their own.
