Logistics Supervisor

My client is a growing company based in Corby, they are one of the world’s leaders and pioneers in their field with manufacturing sites in different countries across the world. They are growing their Corby team and are now looking for a Logistics Supervisor to play a pivotal role in their logistics team.

Day to day responsibilities include:

  • Supervising for high rack, loading, packing and wrapping and logistics employees
  • Liaising with production, engineering, quality and planning departments to ensure smooth operation
  • Participate in the morning meeting, environmental meetings, Gemba walks
  • Stock take and stock control using First in first out (FIFO)
  • Supervision of loading and unloading of lorries
  • Responsible for the cleanliness of the warehouse and yard, ensuring BRC compliance
  • Checking the completeness of the loading documents as produced by the Logistics Administrator
  • Loading according to production and picking document
  • Final Lorry check

Experience required:

  • Previous leadership experience within a logistics, production or manufacturing site
  • Confident using MS office and ERP systems
