As Warehouse Manager, you'll oversee the daily operations of the warehouse, ensuring products and materials are received, stored, and dispatched accurately and on time. You'll be responsible for leading a team, managing inventory, and driving continuous improvements across the department.

Key Responsibilities
  • End-to-End Warehouse Management: Lead all warehouse activities from goods-in to dispatch, ensuring operational efficiency and order accuracy.

  • Inventory Oversight: Develop and maintain robust inventory management practices, including cycle counts, audits, and stock reporting.

  • Team Leadership: Manage a team of warehouse operatives-handling scheduling, training, development, and performance monitoring.

  • Health & Safety Compliance: Ensure a safe working environment by enforcing health and safety standards and adhering to all regulatory requirements.

  • Quality Focus: Collaborate with quality teams to maintain standards, ensuring products are handled, packed, and shipped correctly.

  • Asset Management: Oversee warehouse equipment maintenance, ensuring everything is in safe working condition and ready for use.

  • Reporting & KPIs: Produce regular performance and inventory reports to support business decision-making.

  • Cost Management: Monitor warehouse-related budgets and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce waste.

  • Process Improvements: Drive innovation and improvement initiatives to streamline operations and support business growth.

Skills & Experience
  • Previous experience in a warehouse management role, ideally within a manufacturing or industrial environment.

  • Strong leadership and people management abilities.

  • Excellent organisational skills with a keen eye for detail.

  • Solid understanding of health and safety legislation and best practices.

  • Confident using warehouse management systems and Microsoft Office tools.

  • Effective communication and problem-solving skills.

  • Forklift licence or certification is desirable but not essential.
