Job Title: Ultrasound Technician
Location: Field based
Salary: £26000 - £29000 (doe)
Hours: Monday to Friday, flexible working hours

My client are a premium multi-vendor service and repair organization who are the only Ultrasound Service providers in the UK with full transducer repair facilities.

I am looking for someone who is happy with dexterous work and who is technically minded with fine motor skills due to the technical / fiddly nature of this role. You do not need to have any experience as full training will be given, over a 4/5 month period.

You will also have the patience to work methodically until the end result is achieved. You should be willing to work in isolation but also as part of a team. You should be organized and able to work on your own initiative.

This role requires you to have a full, clean driving licence and you should be willing and able to stay overnight to enable you to meet clients requirements.

The role will involve the following:

· Carrying out preventative maintenance across the UK
· Evaluating and fault-finding ultrasound transducers
· To carry out level 1 repairs which includes;
a. Lens replacements
b. Strain relief replacements
c. Cable repairs
d. Case & Connector refurbishment
· To provide advice and support to internal and external customers
· To provide regular updates to customers, and all teams on all open cases
· To produce administrative reports of maintenance activities for both internal and external customers in a professional and timely manner
· To support the service engineers with ad hoc service repairs
· To deliver and collect loan equipment from customer sites
· Maintain and develop relationships with customers
· Review and update Maintenance Schedule
· To ensure that the Company Health and Safety Policy is adhered to, actively promoting a safe working environment
