Marks Consulting Partners are currently looking for an Estates Surveyor to work with one of our Local Authority clients in Bedfordshire.

What the job will be doing

  • Assisting with the day-to-day estates management of the Council’s corporate property portfolio including but not limited to rent reviews, lease renewals, licences, rent calculations for commercial lettings, lease assignments and other general estate management services as directed
  • As the Estates Surveyor you will be completing delegated authority forms and recommendation reports in line with the Councils instructions for approval by management
  • Assisting with the annual asset valuation programme by gathering and supplying information for valuers, site visits, photos measurements and other valuation related work to support the team in the work programme.
  • Tenant liaison including site inspections, taking photos and measurements as necessary

What you will need as the Estates Surveyor

  • Proven surveying experience working within a Local Authority
  • Good knowledge of property management, delivering property and related projects.
  • Proven experience of producing specification, commissioning specialist services, supervising, monitoring, inspecting, approving, work and projects.
  • Proven ability to work to tight deadlines and manage own workload.
