Purchasing Administrator
£13.15ph, NN17 1QE, 33 days holiday, Part-time Monday to Friday 9.30am till 2.30pm, Bonus, Pension, Permanent, Immediate start

Due to continued success a UK arm of a European manufacturing organisation has an exciting opportunity for a Purchasing Administrator to join their Finance Team. You will be providing administration support for the purchasing function for the business as well as support the finance team when required, working directly for the Finance Director:

  • Ordering all consumables for internal departments and field based team, ensuring costing and department allocation is correct, ensuring all purchases are signed-off prior to ordering
  • Maintaining and updating internal system in relation to purchasing requirements, including setting up new supplier accounts
  • Raising and allocating purchase order numbers, matching P.O.D's with invoices investigating any discrepancies
  • Processing all company credit card purchases and allocation purchases to the right department
  • Diary management for site visitors (Customers or Suppliers), booking external training courses for workforce, and arranging/coordinating staff socials and charity events
  • All administration duties related to the role, as well as assisting Accounts/Finance team administration duties when required

We would expect the successful Purchasing Administrator to be experience within purchasing or procurement administration ideally from a Manufacturing/Production or Engineering environment. Be an excellent communicator and have strong organisation skills, and working knowledge of Microsoft Office. You will be supported 1 to 1 to become familiar with the company processes and procedures. This would be an ideal role for you if you have worked within Purchasing Administrator, Procurement Assistant or a Finance Administrator position.
