We are recruiting on behalf of our prestigious client for an Estates Supervisor - Electrical to oversee maintenance services at a busy and dynamic site. If you’re a proactive problem-solver with strong technical and leadership skills, this is the perfect opportunity for you!

About the Role

As the Estates Supervisor, you will manage a team of engineers and sub-contractors, ensuring the delivery of high-quality mechanical, electrical, and associated maintenance services. You will oversee operational efficiency, ensuring services meet contractual KPIs, while managing costs to meet financial targets. Building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders is key, to ensuring that all services are delivered in a timely and cost-effective manner.

In this role, you will also be responsible for compiling management reports and supporting site audits for quality, health & safety, environmental, and financial compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the delivery of mechanical and electrical maintenance services.
  • Lead and develop a multi-disciplined team, handling recruitment, performance management, and appraisals.
  • Monitor service levels to meet contractual KPIs and manage costs effectively.
  • Provide root cause analysis to improve processes and address day-to-day issues.
  • Investigate and resolve escalations to improve first-time fix rates and reduce unnecessary subcontracting.
  • Support site audits, promoting best practices in Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment (QHSE).

What We’re Looking For:

  • Strong technical knowledge of both electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Experience managing multi-disciplinary teams, including recruitment and performance management.
  • Proficient in operational spending management and computer-literate with Microsoft applications.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven ability to work under pressure, prioritise tasks, and maintain a customer-focused approach.
  • A proactive "can-do" attitude with attention to detail.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Electrical Qualification C&Q Level 3 or equivalent.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced technical estate environment.
  • Previous experience in a supervisory or team leader role is required.
