We’re recruiting on behalf of our client, a leading organization in Corsham, for a Facilities Assistant to join their expanding Estates Team. About the Role

As a Facilities Assistant, you’ll be an integral part of the Estates Team, ensuring our client’s site runs smoothly and efficiently. You’ll take on essential maintenance tasks, ensuring compliance with statutory and contractual obligations.

Key Duties:

  • Perform weekly & monthly planned maintenance checks (e.g., lighting, fire alarms, utility meters).
  • General maintenance tasks such as re-lamping, minor plumbing, and building fabric repairs.
  • Water hygiene tasks (flushing systems, temperature checks).
  • Escorting third-party contractors and managing building outages.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience in building maintenance, such as a caretaker or handyman role.
  • Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
  • Familiarity with health, safety, and building compliance regulations.
  • Attention to detail with the ability to accurately log information.
  • A proactive approach to maintenance and building management.
  • Full UK driving license required.
