We are looking for aFacilities Assistantwho wants to work in a diverse rolewhere no two days are the same.
As theFacilities Assistant,you willprovide the delivery of both planned and reactive FM maintenance services.
TheFacilities Assistant,will be responsible for:
- Weekly & monthly planned maintenance (visual inspections), such as: Lighting andemergency lighting.
- Fire alarms and call points, Utility metre readings, Storerooms and vehicles.
- Generalmaintenance activities, such as: Re-lamping of defective luminaires.
- Minor plumbing tasks and repairs, Minorbuilding fabric and decorating repairs.
- Water hygiene tasks including water flushing andtemperature checks.
- Escorting duties for 3rdparty contractors and building outages.
To be successful for this Facilities Assistantrole you must have:
- Building maintenance in a caretaker / handy persons role or similar.
- Experience beyond this is beneficial but not essential.
- Goodcommunication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to work as a team.
- Experience of working within a customer focused environment, with an understanding of health, safety and statutory building compliance requirements.
- Aconfident and driven applicant, that demonstrates a proactive approach to maintenance and building management.
- An eye for detail andaccuracy with the ability to record the correct information accurately on work sheets and computer-based systems.
- Must hold a full UK driver's license.
