Electrical Maintenance Engineer
Salary: £42,000 per annum
Location: Corwen
Hours: Monday to Friday - 6am-2pm/2pm-10pm (Rotating)

gap technical is proud to be partnering with a leading National Food Manufacturing business in their search for an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join their Corwen facility.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide critical support to the manufacturing process by effectively responding to equipment breakdowns and conducting scheduled maintenance tasks.

  • Take a proactive approach to correcting and preventing recurring machine faults, ensuring optimal performance.

  • Respond swiftly to breakdowns, maintaining a high level of focus within your designated production area.

  • Conduct efficient fault finding by utilizing machine documentation and historical data.

  • Build and maintain positive working relationships with operational staff, promoting teamwork and flexibility.

  • Train operational team members to perform minor maintenance tasks and assist with major repairs as needed.

  • Maintain and repair machinery to the highest standards, ensuring reliable and safe operation.

  • Proactively minimize engineering downtime and support continuous process improvements.



Person Specification:

  • Ideally, you will have completed a time-served engineering apprenticeship.

  • Experience in Food, FMCG, or Packaging Manufacturing is advantageous but not essential.

  • Qualified Electricians looking to transition into manufacturing are encouraged to apply.

  • Strong communication, planning, and organizational skills are essential.

  • Electrical bias preferred.
