We are currently seeking a temporary Sociology and Criminology Teacher to join a great college in South London. This role involves teaching A level Sociology, A level Criminology, and GCSE Sociology. The position requires immediate availability, with interviews being conducted as soon as possible.

Sociology and Criminology Teacher

  • Location: South London
  • Job Type: Temporary
  • Salary: up to £40ph

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Teach A level Sociology and Criminology, as well as GCSE Sociology according to the provided timetable.
  • Engage students through effective teaching practices and interactive lessons.
  • Prepare educational material and coursework.
  • Monitor and assess student's progress and provide feedback to help them improve.
  • Attend staff meetings and contribute to the department's planning and development activities.

Timetable:

  • Monday: 11:15 to 12:45
  • Tuesday: 9:30 to 11:00
  • Wednesday: 11:15 to 12:45
  • Friday: 9:30 to 15:00

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Recognised teaching qualification
  • Experience teaching A level Sociology and Criminology, as well as GCSE Sociology.
  • Strong understanding of the current curriculum.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to create an engaging and inclusive educational environment.
