We are seeking a dedicated Sports Lecturer to deliver BTEC Level 2 & 3 courses. This contract role is based in South London and offers an engaging environment where you can impart your knowledge and enthusiasm for the subject to eager students.

  • Working Hours: 4 days pw

Day-to-day of the role of a Sports Lecturer:

  • Plan, prepare and deliver instructional activities that facilitate active learning experiences in Sports
  • Develop schemes of work and lesson plans in line with curriculum objectives.
  • Facilitate learning by establishing a relationship with students and organising learning resources and the classroom environment.
  • Assess and record students' progress and provide grades and feedback.
  • Maintain discipline in accordance with the rules and disciplinary systems of the institution.
  • Participate in departmental and school meetings, parent meetings.

Required Skills & Qualifications for the Health and Social Care Lecturer:

  • Recognised Teaching qualification.
  • Experience in teaching BTEC Sports at Level 2 & 3.
  • Strong knowledge of the curriculum and assessment methods.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Good organisational and time-management skills.
  • Energy, enthusiasm, stamina, patience, dedication, resilience and self-discipline.
