Estimator - 70,000 - Coventry - Medium Sized Fit Out Company
Fetch Recruitment Group are proud to be partnering with a respected and valued client, a medium-sized fit out company with a strong track record of delivering high quality industrial projects across England and the UK. They are currently seeking an experienced Estimator to join their team based in Coventry.
As an Estimator, you will play a key role in the successful delivery of industrial fit-out projects, working closely with the project management and construction teams to ensure accurate cost estimation and budget control from tender through to completion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for industrial fit-out projects, ensuring accuracy and compliance with project requirements.
- Analyze project specifications and drawings to assess scope and provide comprehensive pricing.
- Collaborate with internal teams and subcontractors to gather pricing information and ensure competitiveness in bids.
- Review and assess risks associated with each project and incorporate contingencies where necessary.
- Prepare and present bid proposals, working to ensure submission deadlines are met.
- Provide support to the senior management team in project planning and delivery stages.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth project execution.
Key Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience as an Estimator within the construction industry, ideally in fit-out or industrial projects.
- Strong understanding of construction costs, processes, and materials.
- Excellent numerical and analytical skills, with the ability to assess and manage budgets effectively.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders.
- Proficient in using estimating software and Microsoft Office applications.
- A degree or relevant qualification in construction, civil engineering, or a related field would be beneficial.
