Reed Accountancy is delighted to be supporting our Coventry based client with the recruitment of a Qualified Management Accountant.
This role would suit candidates who are experienced users of SAP and a competent user of EXCEL
The role will be reporting into the Financial Director and working within a small friendly finance team. This role will have no direct reports.
Main Duties
- Preparation of monthly management accounts.
- Preparation of P&L
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Accruals and prepayments
- Budgeting and forecasting
- Project monthly cost centre reviews, Budget vs. Actuals vs. Forecast YTD.
- Assisting with annual audit
- Cash allocation
- Expenses
- VAT returns
- Query resolution
- Journal entries
- Supporting transactional queries
The position of Management Accountant plays a pivotal role in the company and would suit candidates who possess the ability to prioritise and who are experienced with working to set deadlines, work without supervision and have a can-do-attitude. The role will be working directly with the Finance Director.
You will be ACCA, ACA, CIMA or ICAEW Qualified, candidates who are finalists or past finalists’ can also be considered for the position.
