Seeking a Senior Financial Accountant in the Group Reporting department, with a focus on financial reporting and analytics. The role will involve making key contributions to the industrial/manufacturing sector and would be based in Coventry.

Description

  • Oversee and manage group financial reporting processes
  • Provide financial analysis and insights to aid strategic decision making
  • Ensure adherence to financial regulations and standards
  • Coordinate with internal and external auditors
  • Improve financial systems and processes
  • Prepare financial statements and annual reports
  • Contribute to budgeting and forecasting activities
  • Support in ad-hoc financial projects as required

Profile

A successful Senior Financial Accountant should have:

  • Professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
  • Experience in industrial or manufacturing industries
  • Strong understanding of financial processes and regulations
  • Experience of working in a financial reporting role within a large multi-national business
  • Experience in producing and reviewing complex financial statements under IFRS
  • Expert in IFRS financial reporting requirements including awareness of upcoming changes and UK reporting trends
  • Articulate with great influencing and communicating skills to build effective relationships with a variety of different stakeholders
  • A willingness to challenge existing processes and proactively identify improvements
  • Inquisitive and detail focused - happy to dig into information to find solutions to issues
  • Proficient in use of MS office (Excel, PowerPoint and Word)
  • Fluent in English
