We are currently working in partnership with a large Not-For-Profit Organisation who are currently recruiting for an Assistant Accountant to join the team on a permanent basis.

This will be a full-time position based in Warwickshire, with hybrid working (one day per week from home) and a salary of £30,000 to £35,000 per annum.

The ideal candidate will be confident liaising with senior staff and stakeholders including CEOs and be able to adapt to a dynamic working environment.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

  • Supporting the Finance Manager to deliver financial services across two business areas
  • Overseeing cash management, reconciliation and weekly postings
  • Preparing and posting monthly operations recharges and stock balances
  • Supporting on annual statutory audit processes
  • Dealing with queries from staff and other sources
  • Posting income onto Sage 200
  • Processing monthly profit and loss on foreign currency accounts
  • Raising sales invoices and performing credit control duties
  • Balancing cashbooks daily

Experience required:

  • Experience working in a dynamic environment
  • Experience partnering with senior staff and stakeholders

Working hours:

  • 36.5 hours per week
  • Monday - Thursday, 8:30 am-4:30pm and Friday, 8:30am - 3:30pm
