FRS are exclusively recruiting an Assistant Accountant for a business with a global footprint & based ideally in Coventry!
Suitable candidates will have Sage experience and have worked in a small finance team previously (team of 3) & ideally hold some form of AAT Qualification (not essential as those qualified by experience will still be considered!)
This is a 12 month FTC starting ASAP so please only apply if you are able to start immediately or within a 1-2 week time frame!
Duties Will Include
- Assisting with the preparation of Monthly management accounts
- Processing & paying supplier invoices
- Maintaining the fixed asset register
- Paying employee expenses
- Posting journals, accruals & prepayments
- Reconciling bank accounts
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- VAT returns
- Assist in year-end audit preparation
- Assisting with/administering Payroll & Pension schemes for employees
- Support senior management with financial information
- Corporation tax payments
- Respond to office for national statistics surveys
- Pension uploads
- Liaise with external auditors
