Quality Engineer. Our client, a leader in the automotive manufacturing sector, is looking for a Quality Engineer to support quality milestones for new and existing products, implementing IATF 16949 and AS9100 Rev D standards using the current Business Management System (BMS).
Quality Engineer - Responsibilities:
- Prepare APQP and PPAP documentation.
- Drive continuous improvement (e.g., Six-Sigma, Poka-Yoke, Measurement System Analysis).
- Update and refine FMEA, Control Plans, and related documentation.
- Lead 8D/root cause investigations and customer 8D reports.
- Conduct audits (IATF 16949, AS9100, internal/external).
- Interface with customers, suppliers, and internal teams to resolve issues.
- Manage quality KPIs and ensure milestones are achieved.
Quality Engineer - Requirements:
- Proven experience in Quality Assurance, within Automotive or Aerospace.
- Knowledge of Core Tools (FMEA, APQP, PPAP, etc.).
- Audit experience with IATF 16949 and AS9100 Rev D (mandatory).
- Composites experience is desirable.
- HNC Qualification in Manufacturing or Engineering is highly desirable
Hours of Work: Full-time Monday - Friday days.
