Overview:

A fantastic opportunity has opened become available working as a Bookkeeper for an Accountancy practice which is based in the Coventry area. This post will involve working on a Part-time basis with the benefits of a unique and flexible working schedule. You will need to be an outgoing and collaborative individual that is able to work efficiently as both an individual and as part of a wider team. This position will provide you with the platform to develop new and existing skills in an environment which exposes you to various different business sectors.

The role will mainly consist of Bookkeeping for a variety of clients across different business sectors, preparing and submitting VAT/CIS returns as well as preparing management accounts. Communication is key for this role in order to effectively build and maintain strong rapports with an array of clients. You will need to possess the capability to efficiently use your own initiative to successfully complete daily tasks with consistently accuracy.

Skills Required:

  • Experience in using financial software packages such as Xero and QuickBooks is preferable however not essential.
  • Ability to demonstrate a sound knowledge of Bookkeeping and Accounting fundamentals, preferably studied or studying towards their AAT qualification's.
  • Strong time management and organisational skills needed in order to efficiently manage a portfolio of clients.
  • Driven mindset with a fine attention to detail to ensure the accuracy and consistency of daily workload tasks.
