We're also keen to talk to sales candidates in the Apprenticeship/FE market who might want to move into Software sales. The company:My client is at the forefront of EdTech revolution, offering cutting-edge solutions to Further Education, Higher Education, and Vocational Training institutions.This role is remote/home based, but you’ll occationally get togeher in London (once a month) The RoleAs a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for managing the entire deal cycle from meeting to closing. Your have an SDR function who will generate client meetings for you & there's a CS function who take over once you've landed the deal.

  • Prospecting: Identifying and targeting potential clients within the education sector.
  • Client Interaction: Conducting 60% of customer interactions online and 40% face-to-face (events etc.)
  • Pitching & Closing: Delivering compelling pitches and closing deals.

Requirements:

  • Experience: EdTech sales experience, or sales experience from the Apprenticeship or FE Sector with a desire to move into Tech sales
  • Skills: Strong communication skills, a hunter mentality, and the ability to map, target, and close customers.

Salary & Benefits

  • Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 per annum.
  • Uncapped Bonus: Potential to earn £20,000 - £40,000 year 1

  • Mileage/Expenses: 40p per mile for all business travel (from home) and all public transport costs are expensed.
