We are currently recruiting for a well-established multi-disciplined company seeking an experienced Architectural Technician within the residential sector. This permanent role offers the chance to work alongside designers and technical teams in a dynamic office environment, managing projects and delivering high-quality architectural documentation.
Role Overview
- Project Management: Lead and manage architectural projects, ensuring compliance with building regulations.
- Technical Documentation: Prepare building regulation drawings, specification packages, construction drawings, and detailed technical work.
- Site Liaison: Coordinate with construction sites to support accurate project execution.
- Team Collaboration: Integrate into a collaborative design and technical team and mentor junior staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate residential construction projects from inception to completion.
- Produce and review high-quality technical drawings and documentation.
- Ensure projects adhere to relevant building regulations and industry standards.
- Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and stakeholders.
- Provide guidance and support to junior team members, fostering professional development.
Essential Requirements:
- Qualifications: HNC/ONC or equivalent architectural qualification.
- Experience: A minimum of 5 years post-qualification, with a proven track record leading construction projects for medium to large private developers.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in REVIT and AutoCAD, with strong technical detailing capabilities.
- Industry Knowledge: In-depth understanding of UK Building Regulations and construction methodologies.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work autonomously as well as part of a multi-disciplined team.
- Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and focus in all aspects of project work.
