Are you an experienced CNC Programmer looking for an exciting opportunity? Our client is seeking a skilled CNC Programmer to join their team based in Coventry. This role involves programming, setting, and operating CNC machines and Kuka Robots to meet daily production targets.
- Annual salary of 35,000
- Opportunity to work with advanced CNC machines and Kuka Robots
- Monday to Thursday 08:00 to 16:30, Friday 08:00 to 13:00
The Role:
As a CNC Programmer, you will:
- Programme and operate CNC machines and Kuka Robots
- Ensure daily production targets are met
- Implement Lean Management, support 5S, and TPMs
- Adjust machine settings to optimise production while maintaining quality
- Consider tools required to cut materials and programme machines accordingly
- Troubleshoot and resolve machine/robot issues as they arise
- Perform basic machine maintenance such as cleaning and TPMs
- Train new employees on CNC machine/robot operation
- Read and interpret technical drawings and design models
The Candidate:
The ideal CNC Programmer will have:
- Experience and good working knowledge of Power Mill
- Experience with Openmind Hypermill Software
- Knowledge of composites and their manufacturing processes
- Basic knowledge of race cars and road cars
- Minimum of 2 years working within the F1/Motorsport/Automotive industry
- Proficiency with Fanuc 3 & 5 axis control systems
- Experience with 3-axis Fusion 360 CAM software
- Proficiency with Power Mill CAM software
- Good organisational and communication skills
- Health & Safety awareness
The Package:
