Shirley Parsons have partnered with a leading retailer, who are looking to hire a Health and Safety Coordinator to join their growing H&S team. This position is based at one of their distribution/ logistics site in Coventry and will require occasional travel to other locations. This is a fantastic development opportunity, where further professional training and development will be provided.

The Health and Safety Coordinator will be responsible for:

  • Conducting audits and inspections across the workplace
  • Assisting the Health and Safety team with a range of H&S projects, programmes and initiatives
  • Undertake accident and incident investigations, identify root causes and develop preventative measures
  • Promoting a positive Health and Safety culture


The Health and Safety Coordinator will have:

  • Ideally worked within Logistics/ Distribution/ Warehousing or similar environments
  • Ideally hold a NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent
  • DGSA experience - highly desirable
  • A commitment to CPD and be willing to undertake further professional qualifications
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to engender strong working relationships
