We are currently seeking a highly skilled Credit Analyst for a newly created, high-profile role within our client's team. This is a fantastic opportunity and should appeal if you:

Are keen to take charge of a newly created position: where you’ll design and implement key processes for their credit insurance policy. You’ll have the freedom to shape the role and make an immediate impact.

Are seeking a High-Profile Influential role: your insights will directly shape new credit policies. You’ll collaborate with teams across the company, ensuring your voice is heard and valued at every level.

Like working autonomously yet collaboratively: While you'll manage your projects, you’ll also work closely with insurers, brokers, and internal teams, enjoying autonomy with strong support.

Here are some of your key responsibilities:

  • Credit Insurance Implementation: Support the Head of Credit Operations in the implementation and ongoing management of the company’s credit insurance policy.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with credit insurers, brokers, project teams, IT, and other internal departments such as Cashiers and Finance to ensure the successful rollout of the credit insurance policy.
  • Claims Management: Handle credit insurance claims and manage relationships with insurance brokers and underwriters.
  • Reporting & Process Mapping: Evaluate and define reporting requirements related to the Credit Insurance Policy and assist in process mapping to enhance policy effectiveness.
  • Audit & Compliance: Manage audit requirements within Credit Services, ensuring documentation is accurate and up-to-date.
  • Risk Management: Assist in regular reviews of the insured customer portfolio, ensure coverage is maximised, and manage credit insurance alerts, taking appropriate risk mitigation actions.
  • Policy & Procedure Adherence: Work with credit control teams to ensure compliance with credit insurance policies and procedures.

But as with any newly created role, your remit is very likely to spread into additional areas in time

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience required:

  • Minimum of 2 years experience as a Credit Analyst, specifically in trade credit

  • Expertise in credit insurance, including policy management and claims handling.

  • Good understanding of credit risk management and financial analysis

  • Experience in credit rating methodologies and risk management is desirable.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at various levels

  • Strong team working skills, including the ability to listen constructively and encourage colleagues.

  • Problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify issues and follow through on recommendations.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and credit management systems.

  • Professional certification in credit management is desirable.

If you are a proactive and results-driven individual with a strong background in credit insurance and are looking for a challenging role within a dynamic environment, we would love to hear from you.
