Long Term Futures is seeking a proactive and motivated Teaching Assistant to support learning in a primary school in Coventry. This long-term role has the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.

The Role:
  • Assisting the teacher in delivering lessons and supporting classroom activities.
  • Supporting the needs of children with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
  • Managing behaviour effectively in the classroom.
  • Undertaking observations of pupils and contributing to their progress records.
  • Leading or assisting with interventions to support development in key areas.
Essential Requirements:
  • A minimum of 6 months' experience working as a Teaching Assistant.
  • Knowledge and understanding of the key stage one primary curriculum.
  • A relevant Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or higher.
  • A positive, proactive attitude and a willingness to learn.
