Teaching Assistant - Year Two - Binley (CV3) - long-term/ permanent role - £90-£105 a day - January start

Long Term Futures is looking for an enthusiastic individual to fill a general teaching assistant role at and excellent school in Binley (CV3). We are seeking someone who can assist in teaching young people and help develop their knowledge in maths, literacy and phonics.

Key responsibilities:

  • Monitor classroom activity and be able to implement safeguarding training when necessary
  • Ability to assist classroom activity through the day, including playground assistance at break and lunchtimes
  • Assist teacher in delivering lessons
  • Managing behaviour effectively in the classroom and break times

Requirements:

  • Prior experience working with young children in schools
  • Knowledge and understanding of KS1 curriculum
  • Positive and enthusiastic attitude
  • Must enjoy working with children
  • Must be able to assist in classroom activities and support children where needed
