JOB – Controls Manager – with progression to Director levelLOCATION – Coventry  TERM - Permanent SALARY – £65,000 - £80,000 per annum.  A Coventry based Engineering company are currently looking for a Controls Manager to join their team on a permanent basis.The Controls Manager will ideally have the following attributes:
  • HNC or equivalent electrical engineering or relevant discipline.
  • Strong background in Control Systems Engineering – full life cycle.
  • Strong knowledge of Siemens & Allen Bradley systems.
  • Previous experience in Automation/ manufacturing environments.
  • Previous experience managing teams is beneficial.
  • Ability to read & interpret electrical schematics & drawings.
  • Excellent communication skills.
The duties & responsibilities will include:
  • Leading & overseeing control systems development from design through to commissioning.
  • Lead & develop the engineering team.
  • Providing support when required.
  • Communicating with management teams & stakeholders.
  • Ensuring burg
  • Ensuring all health & safety regulations are met at all times.
  • Liaising with customers & clients to gain feedback/ take requirements.
