Principal Electrical Engineer - Systems Implementation
Location – Coventry
Hybrid 2 days per fortnight on site, Regular Expensed travel to site
Rate - £57.33 Umbrella / £43.45 PAYE + Holiday Pay (£49.77 ph)
Duration: 6 Months
SC Clearance required
Role Description
As a Principal Electrical Engineer, you will be instrumental in shaping the development and construction of our electrical systems, collaborating closely with other engineers to ensure alignment with project specifications and strategies.
Typical duties include (but are not limited to):
- Control and lead the implementation from paper to physical building
- Looking to implement the equipment
- Willingness to travel to Land based test Facility in Leicestershire
- Working from single line diagrams and schematics and liaising with Systems Engineering teams
- Design fault finding and providing feedback to the Systems Engineering teams
- Able to interpret and ensure implementation of Electrical Layout Diagrams, Power Distribution Diagrams, Single Line Diagrams, Electrical Schematics
Key Skillset
- Extensive background in electrical Engineering
- Previous paper to construction experience
- Strong background in electrical power systems design, operational scenario development, and standards compliance.
- Knowledge of 850V systems and associated regulations
