Our client is seeking a Senior Finance Business Partner to join their dynamic team in Coventry. This role offers an exciting opportunity to be part of the management team, ensuring the link between accounting/controlling and the strategic development of the site. You will act as an experienced business partner for colleagues, supporting local teams with finance expertise during the forecast and budget process.
Responsibilities of the Senior Finance Business Partner
As a Senior Finance Business Partner, your responsibilities will include drawing up budgets, determining product costing, providing cost evolution analysis, managing economic resources, and supporting capital expenditure requests. You will also be responsible for maintaining close control on conversion costs, variances, supply chain costs and proposing cost optimisation actions.
- Draw up the Budget according to the structure laid down by the Business Group
- Ownership of determining product costing and keeping it under control
- Produce a high-level financial reporting, forecasting, and analysis to drive growth for the business
- Provide management with analysis of costs evolution, corrective actions and preventive action plans
- Keep a close control on conversion costs, variances and propose cost optimisation actions
- Manage the economic resources needed to achieve company's objectives and support to improve cash flow
What the successful candidate will bring
- Fully qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
- Proven experience in a similar role.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Excellent communications skills, oral and written.
- Ability to work under pressure to meet short deadlines.
