Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the timely preparation and submission of statutory reporting across multiple legal entities.
  • Take control of VAT returns (monthly, quarterly, annual) and ensure seamless paperwork for payments.
  • Oversee balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring everything is spot on.
  • Manage intra-group reporting and other regulatory filings.
  • Be the key liaison between the business and local authorities-fostering strong relationships with tax teams.
  • Collaborate with external auditors and corporate tax advisors to keep things running smoothly.
  • Implement streamlined processes to enhance efficiency and quality within the team.
  • Play a key role in ad-hoc projects as needed and ensure smooth month-end reporting and close.
  • Take ownership of the international business's accounting and tax matters, ensuring deadlines are met and everything is in order.
  • Prepare weekly cash flow forecasts for all European businesses.
  • Support audit processes by providing requested financial information.

What You Need:

  • ACA/ACCA Qualified with extensive relevant experience in practice or industry.
  • Exceptional people management skills to collaborate across finance and non-finance teams, both locally and internationally.
  • Proven track record in process improvement and driving continuous change.
  • Statutory Reporting experience, especially within EMEA.
  • Expertise in VAT Compliance.
