LTF Recruitment are searching for a proactive Behaviour Mentor to join our primary school in the Willenhall area. The successful candidate will provide support to children in Key Stage Two who exhibit challenging behaviour, working alongside teachers to enhance their learning experience. This role is offered on a long-term basis with the potential to become permanent for the successful candidate.

The Role:

  • Support students with challenging behaviour during lessons, promoting a positive learning environment.
  • Implement strong behaviour management techniques and strategies to foster student engagement.
  • Act as a positive role model, demonstrating appropriate behaviour and social skills.
  • Collaborate with teaching staff to deliver interventions tailored to individual student needs.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of behaviour support plans.
  • Work as part of a dedicated team to create a supportive classroom atmosphere.

The Applicant:

  • Experience working in a primary school, preferably within Key Stage Two.
  • Proven background in sports or physical activities to promote teamwork and engagement.
  • Strong behaviour management skills and experience with challenging behaviour.
  • Experience supporting children with SEN and SEMH needs.
  • Understanding of safeguarding principles and child protection procedures.
  • Team Teach training or similar behaviour management qualifications are desirable.
