JOB TITLE - Commercial Manager, Bulk Cement (Home Counties & South West)

LOCATION-Binley

We are seeking an experienced and driven Commercial Manager to help us shape the future of our business. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for developing strategic initiatives, managing client relationships, and driving sales growth while ensuring the highest standards of customer satisfaction.

MAIN DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

Reporting to the Commercial Director, you will be responsible for:

  • Develop and maintain relationships with our existing customer base to deliver on the cement commercial strategy
  • Develop new customer relationships and business opportunities
  • Maintain complete market knowledge, continually monitoring competitor activities, products and sales profile
  • Promote the range ofproducts, services and digital platform
  • Be an expert in the field of cement and concrete technology, lower carbon products
  • Promote cross selling opportunities for all products.
  • Achieve individual sales targets in line with set objectives.
  • Establish working relationships withinto share knowledge, experience and expertise, to enhance our customer service experience
  • Responsibility to complete all reports within the agreed timeframe
  • Be an ambassador for cement with all external and internal stakeholders

EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS

  • You must be a highly self-motivated, committed and enthusiastic individual with a high degree ofcommercial awareness and entrepreneurial spirit.
  • Commercial Sales experience is essential
  • Previous sales experience within the industry with technical knowledge of concrete / cement is desirable.
  • The ability to succeed in a very competitive market with a demonstratable history of achieving personal targets and objectives.
  • Possess strong inter-personal skills to build long lasting relationships and communicate well at all levels.
  • Knowledge and experience of I.T including Customer relationship management
  • A Valid Full Car Driving License
