Finegreen are currently supporting a large NHS organisation in the appointment of Deputy NHS People Partner - Employee Relations who holds experience working within the NHS in a similar role at Band 7 level.
Key responsibilities will include:
  • Supporting the delivery of a professional and strategic People Operations (Workforce) service,
  • providing oversight and management of Employment Relations casework, as well as standard work and project work within the People Operations team;
  • Expected to work with the People Business Partners, People Advisors, Trainee People Advisors and People Officers to provide a comprehensive service for employee relations case work, as well as undertaking all standard work within People Operations (Workforce) and on-going project and developmental work;
  • Responsible for the oversight of employee relations casework and associated key performance indicators. Including allocation of case work to People Advisor and Trainee People Advisors, liaising with People Business Partners regarding their cases and escalating as appropriate.
  • Offering support and expert HR advice and guidance;
  • Co-ordinating cases for discussion at weekly case review meeting, this to include management and oversight case reviews meetings as appropriate for complex cases;
The ideal candidate will have:
  • Experience of offering and providing expert HR advice on a wide range of employment relations /litigation matters;
  • Educated to degree level or equivalent level of experience, CIPD qualified or working towards level 7;
  • Proven track record of providing operational Workforce advice in a progressive Workforce function within a large NHS or public sector organisation.
