- Provide technical training in engineering subjects, both face-to-face and online, to small groups of learners. Support learners predominantly at L2 and L3 (Some HNC delivery could be expected depending on your qualifications)
- Design and develop training courses, programmes and curriculum.
- Manage all physical learning resources and teaching spaces to ensure effective training and assessment within guided learning hours.
- Ensure the progress of all learners and support them in achieving their goals. Promote a safe and supportive learning environment in collaboration with the Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL).
- Convey technical information in a clear and accessible manner, and engage with various stakeholders through presentations and updates.
- Develop new, interactive teaching methods that incorporate the latest industry standards, continually improving our technical training offerings.
- A strong Engineering background with a minimum of 5 years industry experience. Ideally within an Electrical Installation capacity.
- A confident speaker who isn’t phased by standing in front of a classroom/delivering presentations.
- Be customer and quality-focused, with strong interpersonal skills.
- Work independently and as part of a team, managing tight deadlines effectively.
- Demonstrate a commitment to promoting the safety and wellbeing of learners.
- Industry-related qualifications e.g., L3 Apprenticeship, HNC, HND, or Degree. (Please note: a minimum of L3 will be required)
- CAVA or equivalent assessor qualifications.
- Recognized training/teaching qualifications.
- Internal Quality Assurance qualifications.
