  • Oversee the Safety Reporting and Occurrence Reporting System, ensuring timely investigations and corrective actions.
  • Facilitate hazard identification, risk assessments, and mitigation strategies to enhance operational safety.
  • Ensure compliance with Part 145, Part 21, IA9100/9110/9120 regulations and liaise with aviation authorities (UKCAA, EASA, FAA).
  • Provide safety training, foster a safety culture, and integrate incident feedback into recurrent training.
  • Lead internal safety audits, prepare for external regulatory audits, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Act as a focal point for safety communication with internal teams, customers, and regulators.
MRO Quality LeadEssential Experience/Skills/Qualifications
  • Experience in aviation safety management, with a strong understanding of Part 145 maintenance organisations
  • Practical experience in human factors, just culture principles, and regulatory safety standards.
  • Experience in the aerospace sector, including MRO operations.
  • Engineering/technical degree or aircraft maintenance qualification, with additional training acceptable to regulatory bodies.
  • Strong knowledge of safety investigations, FMEA, Root Cause Analysis (5 Whys, Cause & Effect, 8D, etc.).
  • Demonstrated success in continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, Six Sigma, etc.).
