We need a dedicated and experienced tutor to deliver and assess our programme for Teaching Assistant roles, with a focus on working with Special Educational Needs (SEN) children. The programme includes the accredited Level 2 qualification in Safeguarding Children and Young People.

Responsibilities:

- Deliver and assess Employability /Education programme using LMS and PowerPoint presentations.

- Guide learners through the completion of the Individual Learning Plans (ILP). This comprehensive journey ensures learners are well-prepared for Teaching Assistant roles.

- Facilitate modules on British Values, Prevent, Safeguarding, Health and Safety and other key topics.

- Support learners in completing Level 2 qualification in Safeguarding Children and Young People.

- Assist with their application process, including DBS applications.

- Conduct CV writing, time management, and interview techniques

- Provide ongoing support and feedback to learners.

- Ensure all work submitted is IQA'd and meets the required standards.

Requirements:

- Proven experience in delivering, Employability skills, educational programmes, particularly in SEN and safeguarding.

- Familiarity with LMS systems and creating engaging PowerPoint presentations.

- Competence in completing required funding paperwork.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to support and motivate learners.

- Relevant qualifications in employability, education and safeguarding

- Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
