Key Responsibilities

VAT Compliance & Reporting - Ensure accurate VAT submissions and full regulatory adherence.

Stakeholder Engagement - Collaborate with key internal and external partners to drive best practices.

Risk Management - Identify and mitigate VAT-related risks across operations.

Advisory & Planning - Provide strategic VAT insights to support business decision-making.

Process Improvement - Streamline and optimise VAT registration and reporting processes.

What's Needed

A professional qualification (ACA, ACCA, CTA, or equivalent) with a strong knowledge of UK and EU VAT legislation.

Experience in VAT within a large corporate, consultancy, or HMRC, with a proven ability to handle complex compliance matters.

A proactive and solutions-focused mindset, supported by strong analytical skills.

VAT software proficiency along with strong skills in Microsoft Excel.

An ability to simplify complex financial concepts, with clear and confident communication skills.
