ASD Teaching Assistant

LTF Recruitment are looking for a caring and nurturing SEN teaching assistant to work in our welcoming Primary school in the canley area. This role will involve working on a 1-1 basis with a child in Key Stage Two who has ASD, and non-verbal. The role is offered on a long term basis with the potential to become permanent.

The Ideal candidate:

  • Has experience supporting children 1:1
  • Has experience or knowledge of supporting child/children with ASD, SLCN, non-verbal.
  • Understanding of Key stage Two curriculum
  • Experience managing challenging behaviour.
  • Has TA qualifications or relevant degree
  • Can work as part of a team.
