TimePlan Education is a leading educational recruitment agency committed to connecting passionate and skilled teaching assistants with fantastic schools in Coventry. We are currently recruiting for both Primary and Secondary teaching assistant positions starting this September.
Role Overview:
We are seeking dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to support the learning and development of students across primary and secondary schools in Coventry. This full-time role is perfect for individuals who are passionate about education and making a positive impact on young people's lives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist teachers in delivering engaging lessons
- Support students with their academic and personal development
- Manage classroom behaviour and ensure a positive learning environment
- Provide one-on-one or small group support to students who need extra help
- Assist with the implementation of educational activities and materials
- Help with phonics for early years positions (if applicable)
- Perform other classroom duties as required
Ideal Candidate:
- Some experience working with young people
- Classroom experience is advantageous but not essential
- Phonics experience for early years teaching assistant positions
- Willing to learn and adapt to different educational environments
- Holds a current DBS on the update service or is willing to obtain one
- Enthusiastic, proactive, and reliable
