The company are a leading manufacturer of products and vehiclesfor the security/defence industry.
The business are seeking to recruit a field based technical representative for their operations.
The main responsibility for the role is to provide technical field support across the UK and occasionally abroad.
Responsibilities
As a technical representative, the duties are as follows;
- Conduct expert technical investigations and provide specialist advice and support.
- Assist in the assessment and repair of attrition, negligence, misuse and damage cases.
- Analyse root causes of equipment failures and malfunctions.
- Prepare clear, detailed damage reports for internal and authority use.
- Capture and report on lessons identified to inform continuous improvement.
- Collect and relay feedback from users and maintainers to support product development.
- Provide informed recommendations for post design services (PDS) enhancements.
- Support maintenance activities as required.
Key skills for this role are as follows;
- Experience of maintenance of protected mobility platforms gained asREMEClass 1 vehicle mechanic or equivalent.
- Maintainer knowledge of platforms MASTIFF,RIDGBACK, WOLFHOUND, FOXHOUND,JACKEL, COYOTE.
- Appropriate City and Guilds certification as vehicle mechanic or equivalent.
- Full UK driving license.
- Microsoft Office conversant.
- Able and willing to travel throughout the UK and overseas when required.
The shift is a Days position (8am- 4.35pmMonday to Thursday &8am- 3.10pmFriday)
Salary is up to35k-45kper annum.

The role is based in the Coventry area, so is commutable from Nuneaton, Bedworth, Kenilworth, Solihull, Birmingham, Solihull, Rugby, Hinckley.
