Maintenance Team Leader

What You Will Do:

- Lead a dedicated engineering and maintenance team, ensuring the smooth operation and continual improvement of our unique production site.

- Coordinate contracted services for specialist maintenance activities, ensuring efficiency and quality.

- Oversee the procurement and installation of new plant and equipment, contributing to the company's growth and innovation.

- Design bespoke tooling and equipment for use in our specialist machinery, utilizing your skills in AutoCAD and other computer software (not essential).

- Maintain an in-depth understanding of the company's Health, Safety, and Environmental obligations, ensuring compliance and promoting a culture of safety.

- Work collaboratively with the team to troubleshoot and resolve any mechanical issues, demonstrating excellent fault-finding skills.

What You Will Bring.

- Proven experience in an industrial or engineering background, with a strong mechanical engineering knowledge.

- Exceptional fault-finding and problem-solving skills, able to tackle challenges head-on.

- Proficiency in computer software, including AutoCAD (not essential) and general office products.

- (Desirable) Familiarity with Allen Bradley PLCs, though full training will be provided.

- A commitment to continuous learning and development, particularly in Health, Safety, and Environmental practices.
