Job Overview:We are looking for a highly organised and detail-oriented Warehouse Administrator to join our logistics team. In this role, you will support the warehouse team with administrative tasks to ensure smooth and efficient operations. You will play a key role in maintaining inventory accuracy, handling deliveries, and keeping the warehouse management systems updated.Working hours: 7am- 7pm4 days on/ 4 days off shift patternKey Responsibilities:
  • Manage the office, answering calls and queries, booking vehicles, and updating delivery boards.
  • Inspect incoming goods to ensure they meet standards, label pallets, book them into SAP, and track inventory movements.
  • Manage stock levels of yard items, including collections and deliveries of pallets and IBCs.
  • Collaborate with purchasing and stock control to resolve queries and complete inventory checks.
  • Support the month-end and year-end inventory counts and assist with follow-up investigations.
  • Ensure SAP systems are kept up to date, and stock movements are accurately recorded.
  • Handle bulk deliveries, adjusting orders based on stock levels.
Qualifications and Experience:
  • GCSEs or equivalent (Grade C/Level 5 in Maths and English).
  • Previous experience in a warehouse administrative role, ideally using SAP in a manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of supply chain and stock management, with experience managing third-party warehouse stocks.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Forklift licenses (Cherry Picker and Counterbalance FLT) are advantageous but not essential.
Working Conditions:
  • This role involves both indoor and outdoor work, regardless of weather conditions.
  • The environment is fast-paced, with frequent vehicle movement.
  • Desk-based tasks include using a PC and phone regularly.
