Our client is a very established and successful FMCG manufacturing company and Staffbase have been appointed to recruit for the position of Engineering Manager.
We are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to oversee and improve the engineering & maintenance functions at our client's busy production facility.
The Role:
Reporting to the Directors the Engineering Manager will be lead the engineering & maintenance functions for the business including people, all plant and machinery and respective budgets.
The Engineering Manager will introduce robust and motivational people management skills designed to improve performance of the engineering & maintenance departments.
You will be required to monitor performance and you will identify key improvement opportunities required to improve efficiency and increase profitability.
You will also lead Cap-ex engineering projects ensuring timely and cost effective delivery.
Candidate:
You will be an experienced engineering manager with excellent mechanical and electrical engineering knowledge.
Engineering managers with experience in FMCG, packaging or high speed production lines would be desirable.
You will have excellent organisational and people skills required to motivate staff and improve performance.

Excellent basic salary negotiable up to £60K
