Production Manager

This is a terrific opportunity for an experienced manufacturing professional to join an industry leading company that is constantly expanding. Along with changing customer expectations and supply challenges, the business is expecting exciting changes over the coming twelve months and this role will be pivotal to the successful implementation of those changes.
As the Production Manager, you will have responsibility for the day-to-day management of Operational and Shop Floor activities. Utilising manufacturing and quality best practice, the Production Manager will deliver continuous improvements to fulfil customer orders "right first time, on time, every time", whilst implementing change and carrying the workforce with you.
To be considered as a Production Manager, you will need:
* A minimum of three years' experience within the manufacturing industry in a management role
* Experience of low volume assembly
* To be a mechanically or fabrication biased engineer
* Experience in all aspects of utilising Lean Principles, the Quality Toolset and Manufacturing - Best Practice in everyday production processes while maintaining production pace
* The ability to manage and develop a team
* To be well versed in production and project planning within an SME environment
* Familiar with working in low volume / sheet metal manufacturing environments * A degree (or equivalent) in engineering or manufacturing.
